Fluorescent ddNTP DNA sequencing is a 'one pot' reaction, where
different lengths of DNA are tagged with a coloured molecule to
indicate the nature of the end-most base. Conventional ddNTP sequencing
will yield DNA of different lengths depending on the nature of the
end-most base, but these molecules are distinguishable only by their
length, consequently, four 'pots' are needed to separate the reactions
for A, T, G and C.
