Types of data

• Qualitative: eye colour, hair colour, leaf shape.
• Quantitative: lens strength (Dioptres), hair length (mm), leaf length (mm), mass (kg).
• Grouped: age ranges.
• Discrete: colour (although you could make this continuous if you measured wavelength of light), number of arms.
• Continuous: height.
